Check to see how high it is charging the batteries 60-66v is normal. Is the charger shutting off?

That sounds like way too much water. My batteries are 20 months old. Over a period of 20 months and 600 miles I have had to add about 1/2 gallon to my batteries. I’m not sure if living In a colder climate (NJ) reduces water use.

When I had LA batteries when my cart was brand new I went through about a gallon in the first 6 months. The next 3-4 months after they broke in, only about a quart.

Charger is shutting off, not continually running. Each battery is reading 8.3. Guage shows full and within 10 minutes, goes down to less than half.

I have an automatic watering system, and check after it says its full, so not over watering.

Batteries were very low on water twice within 6 months, dont know how much evaporated so fast. I think the lead plates were just.exposed too long and it did irreversible damage. Guess it might be time for new batteries, i mean they are 4 yrs old anyway.

Your batteries are at 80%. I agree you will be needing batteries down the road.
