Default 1995 Ezgo 36v non-Medalist

my series motor brushes shorted out I put in new brushes and motor runs fine, but the cart wont run. Did it destroy the controller? the controller is a curtis S/N 4325-P074269L P/N 2586 4G09. It does not have an A1 post. Solenoid clicks but cart won't move. Can I get some help please.

Check the stickies. Good info on trouble shooting

I can't find anything about a 1995 S/N 4325-P074269L on stickies or any where else.

What I meant to say was my controller don't have an A2 post. All diagrams I find has a wire going to an A2 post which I don't have. One diagram has the A B C D posts on the f&r switch going clock wise and another counter clockwise but both has a wire going to an A2 post The A B C D posts seam to be up side down to mine I can't find a diagram without an A2 post on the controller.

EZGO stopped using controllers with the A2 post and most replacements don't use it either. On the diagrams, the wire running from the motor to A2 now just goes directly to the F/R switch without stopping at A2 along the way.

When used, the A2 connection enabled "plug braking". Handy for fork lifts but golf carts not so much. Google it if you want to know what it is.
