Ratchet strap locations that won't break anything.
I personally have snapped a rental carts horizontal steering rod on trails at an outdoor golf cart trail park. What are the strongest places I can put ratchet straps around. I don't have the tire harness tie downs and we are loading it up for a trip tomorrow and just realized I need a tie down plan.
I have read to criss cross it to the truck bed corner tie downs in the front and rear, and some do one across the floor. Thank you! Sent from my phone using Tapatalk |

I always strap corner to corner of my trailer across the rear axle and front crossmember.

As long as you have 4 points of straps, you don't really have to crank it down that hard to secure it. Snug it down and it will be fine

I strap from the front lower tie down in the truck bed back to the rear leaf spring front mount. But my cart is lifted.

I agree with the guys above..... PLUS if you are going to be driving at highway speeds, I have seen more than one roof pulled off, so I also put a strap across the top at the front and back. better safe than sorry.
