Default 2005 txt pds 36v keeps quitting

I have a 2005 txt pds 36v last month I replaced the 6v batteries with 6 brand new crowns, lately while doing our night ride it has been acting up. It acts just like one running out of juice or a gas one running out of gas.
A few times it did it I was crossing over a bump in the pavement so I had thought maybe it was a connection issue flip the seat everything is tight. When i pushed the pedal it had no clicks from solenoid so i let it set a few minutes and it would drive again. I noticed the last two times the controller was mighty hot. Where should I start this thing had never acted up like this before.

The controller is going into a thermal shut down until it cools off. Once cooled below the cut off point it will run until it heats up again.
The controller is ready for replacement. Look at the XCT400PDS controller and 200a solenoid combo for this cart.

Driving PDS cart slow on hot day will cause it too.
