Re: Ezgo brake return torsion spring
install one brake shoe.
install the springs on it. set the second shoe in place but at a 45 degree angle out from the backing plate. Install the springs to the second shoe. push the shoe flush to tthe backing plate and lock it in place. |

Oh, that one is a little more fun...... you have to fight with it a bit. I usually use at least 2 flat blade screwdrivers and typically end up with a few skinned knuckles...... Needless to say, I remove them as a last resort.

You remove what as a last resort? This is making me go crazy. I should have done this before I installed the fricking floor pan.

Re: Ezgo brake return torsion spring
Well I had to remove it. I took my cart all the way down to the frame. Well now I regret doing it. But there has to be a way to do it.

Re: Ezgo brake return torsion spring
Agree with your after thought but it can be done from below..... you just need to find the right tool I think I used a brake adjustment tool last time?

Re: Ezgo brake return torsion spring
Try 2 pairs of vice grips, a screwy driver and a hammer.
