Default 2020 EZGO Express S4 Elite

Looking to unleash the power in controller. 235 amp AC controller. Was told by dealer it would brick if attempted.

Think Bob Boyce is only person who can touch it!

Search for his name, or he will respond shortly.

If you don’t know what you are doing yes you can brick it. Has an unlock code that has to be entered as well as if you want to tweak it past stock you have to have an original ezgo usb cable. Clone ones don’t work.

Well the bad news is that one has to be programmed in person and based on your signature it appears you are in California. Bob is in Tennessee and won’t go to California.

I've had that offer many times. LOL

The reason I do not cross that state line is to protest that states violation of my 2nd ammendment rights if I enter that state. I do not travel anywhere without my sidearm. It has saved me twice in the past couple of years of travelling around this country. Both times occured in locations that do not allow citizens the right to carry a weapon for self defense.

I can appreciate that. What can we do to get my buggie wild considering the limitation of travel?

I would wait for this pandemic to subside, safety first of course. You could trailer your S4 cross-country. My county is on lockdown, as many are, but I am doing what I can for those that are close. On the days that I have doctor appointments and pharmacy trips, I have made excursions to relatively nearby locations to reprogram S4s and L6s. The RXVs can have their controllers mailed to me for reprogramming on the bench. The Elite versions really need to be programmed in the cart for best results.
