Charger will not work
As I'm get ready to do the DIY 4-12 volt to 6-8 volt battery conversion on my 2006 Precedent my charger will not charge. I took all the batteries out of the cart and make the modifications to the battery tub then reinstalled the batteries. Now the charger will not kick on to charge. Everything is hooked up right as the cart runs and drives fine. I have 50 volts at the batteries but only 35 volts at the plug. Any ideas what such a difference in volts from the pack to the plug.

Re: Charger will not work
Measure the voltage from Pack Negative to the Positive socket at the charger receptacle, it should be the same as Pack Voltage.
If it is not, make sure the red wire from the charger receptacle is connected to the pack positive battery post. |

Re: Charger will not work
The batteries where out of the cart for a month so the OBC should be reset. Also I know the red wire from the charger receptacle is hooked up but I will check the voltage like Sergio said. I checked and have 50 volts from negative on the battery pack to positive on the charger receptacle. But still only 35 volts at the plug.

Re: Charger will not work
Did You get it working? Did anything come unplugged from the OBC while you replaced the batteries?

Re: Charger will not work
The ground wire connector between the charger outlet to the OBC was severely corroded. Replace the connection everything is good
