Trojan Ranger fitment issue
I just installed my brand new Trojan ranger 160's in my 2011 precedent and now the seat will not fit right. I have read all over this site that they fit and now my seat wont fit flat. I have the plastic seat bottom, it sticks up about an 1 -1 1/2.
Does anyone know the fix for this? |

Re: Trojan Ranger fitment issue
I run the Rangers but I have the wood bottom on my seat. Just a idea, if you have a friend with CC Precedent with a wood seat bottom, maybe they would let you see if it fits better. If you were closer I have 2 complete seat sets for a Precedent.

Re: Trojan Ranger fitment issue
My friend has the plastic bottom seat on his too. I don't have anyone else around that I know of with a wood seat bottom. I might have to find a used seat and recover or find new replacement seat kits like the double take seat kits I just saw.

Lazy Life and Double Take seats will have a wood bottom if you order a complete seat set.

Do you know if the double take seat kit comes with the hip restraints? or are they separate?

Re: Trojan Ranger fitment issue
Try a wood board across where the seat goes and see if you have room. You may be able to remove chunks of plastic from you seat were the batteries are too high.

Re: Trojan Ranger fitment issue
I did that, a flat board works its the hip restraint mounts molded into the plastic seat base. I can't cut them or trim them out, then there is nothing to mount the hip restraints to.

Re: Trojan Ranger fitment issue
I'll give you $100 a piece for the Rangers.....ohhh, better yet, I'll buy you a set of 875's and you give me the rangers!
Sorry1 That does suck! Glad I decided to go with 875's instead of rangers. |

Re: Trojan Ranger fitment issue
I read about a guy who made a small lift kit for the seat hinges
