2016CTD,
Can you just make a plywood seat base and transfer your foam and seat cover to it?

You would have to see if the arm rests on your plastic seat base are the same as the ones used on the wood base seats.

I can give you the dimensions from mine, and if you decide to do it I'll try to take some close up pics.

I guess I'm guilty here for saying they fit. I guess every time I've ever installed Rangers in a Precedent, it had the wooden seat bottom. I never thought about the plastic bottoms having clearance issues compared to the wood. Thanks for pointing that out.

I think if I had spent that much time and money, I would just remove the hip restruants. Be careful going around corners.

I have replaced a few T875s with Rangers in Precidents with plastic seat bottoms. I used a dremel tool to remove the webs that are in the way. You also have to make the cables on the end batteries longer so they don't get pinched by the plastic web.

Thanks for posting. This is good information to know. I was considering Rangers for my cart and using my 875s in another project.

I was already looking into replacing the seat it is not my favorite color combination and it is worn in spots from rubbing the body, so I probably will by a new seat kit.

I am not a fan of this idea, though it crossed my mind, I have kids that ride in the front with me and it helps hold them in and give them something to hold on to and some of the adults too.
