Let's do the speed sensor test another way since we're unsure of the buzzer situation. Get the vehicle up to speed, as fast as it will go and immediately flip the FNR switch to neutral. Does the cart slow itself down immediately or does it coast to a stop?

You are right. It's blue with white stripe which comes from the controller and is your negative.

Could the diode on my selenoid cause this limp mode?

No, but if it's hooked up backwards you can fry the solenoid control driver in the controller, which you say is already bad. Let me know the results of the 2nd speed sensor test.

Slows immediately.

Should I replace the speed sensor?

If You wired the blue/white stripe wire from the solenoid directly to negative, the solenoid will come ON as soon as the key switch is ON.

That will cause a "main welded" fault every time You press the gas pedal and the controller will run at 50% power (limp mode).

You cannot by-pass the solenoid activation on an IQ cart.

I think you need a new Controller, unless David knows a way around it.

God I hope it's not a new controller needed. Where would I even buy one?

David's company: RevolutionGolfCars.com sells them, he can help you decide on the best replacement option.
