2013 club car precedent seat
i just bought a 2013 and it has a wooden seat bottom , is this normal ? my last 2011 had a molded plastic one ?

Yes, at some point right around that time, CC went back to wood seat bottoms on the Precedent.

I have a 2013 with a wood bottom and have seen 2014s with them as well.

Not sure why they did it...I bet Dave @ Revolution can answer that.
But I DO know that the wood bottom seats WILL accommodate the Ranger 160 batteries and the plastic seat bottoms will not without modification. |

thanks for the quick reply guys , i kind of like the flat bottom as well , my guess is that it was a cost saving thing.
