Default 2010 precedent shorted out

I accidently shorted the motor terminals with a wrench while changing rear shocks. Now it won't move. Buzzer works. Found 15 w fuse in back but it was good. Any ideas on where to start? As you can tell by me not swith in to tow, I'm a newbie at this.

Controller needs to be replaced. It only takes a small arc between the battery posts, but it shorts it out every time. Look at it as the perfect time to upgrade. The Alltrax XCT 300 amp controller will work on your cart without upgrading any of the cables or the solenoid and will get you over 20MPH with a pretty good boost in torque as well.

Moral of the story.....
ALWAYS
ALWAYS
ALWAYS

Disconnect + and - pack cables whenever working on the cart.
You never know what a tool may accidentally touch.

For sure kashmir. Newbie mistake. My trade is carpentry, not mechanics. Lesson learned.

It'll handle the XCT300 no problem.

Yes. The factory AMD motor on a 2010 Precedent can handle up to a 400 Amp Alltrax XCT.
