2007 ds 12 volt died while driving

Driving down hill and it died and would not go again.someone pushed it without switching the tow switch and the drivers side battery exploded.any ideas

I'm assuming it has a good set of batteries in it now? Pushing it while in run may have taken out either the motor or controller.
