2012 Precedent jumps out of Forward
Every now and then I press the pedal and nothing happens. I check the FNR switch and it has jumped out of Forward back to Neutral. Switching back fixes the problem.
Is it a common thing for the FNR switch to move back to Neutral on its own? It doesn't happen on the move, just when it is stopped. |

I think your leg is hitting it.
This kept happening to my daughter when we first got the cart......never happened to me. Then I was with her and noticed when she moved her leg while stopped, it touched the switch, putting it into neutral |

Thanks. It is certainly a possibility. I'll try to check what's happening.

Yup, my wife's leg knocks mine back in neutral from time to time when she is riding as my passenger.
LOL, the first thing that I usually do is go into panic mode when I loose power while cruising. |

^^ I think we ALL go into panic mode whenever there is a loss of power.

Re: 2012 Precedent jumps out of Forward
Have you guys considered turning the switch upside down? I imagine you could even switch the wires so "forward" is still a left (toward the driver) button press. I haven't done this myself---just asking.

No I haven't but if it keeps happening I'll definitely do something. It must be the lightest touch that does it, or perhaps bumping over the rough (where my golf ball always seems to land ). Either way I must be able to do something to tighten up the switch. I just thought I'd see how common it was first.

Move the switch to the dash if it's a problem
