Sounds more like battery pack or high current cables then controller or motor.

What is the battery pack voltage 12 hours after charger turns off?

rco, Please identify your make model and year for more specific help. Also please proof read your entry before posting so we don't have to guess at your meaning. Thank you

Sounds like you may have a PDS cart with F&R rocker switch on the dash? IS it factory 48v? Does the pack sustain 50V when you drive or drop drastically under load as Johnnie suggests it may?

A welded solenoid may throw a PDS cart into limp (slow) mode. PDS carts can be put into diagnostic mode through a series of F&R switching. In diagnostic mode they will beep a trouble code if the reverse buzzer is intact.
