48v Charger Suggestions?
I am thinking of upgrading from 36 to 48, but wanted to but the charger first.
Any suggestions on under $400 chargers? I was thinking of some type of "smart" charger. What do you think would need to be the minimum amperage per 6/12v or 48v for overnight charges? |

There is only one suggestion. cartsunlimited.net Scooty B sells DPI charges and they are flat out the best and very reasonable!

You could pay a lot more for a "lester" (avoid e-series). And still not sure you would get a better charger. You Cant beat a DPI for the money, and made in USA with 2yr warranty. Avoid ALL cheap chinese chargers, at any price (thunderbull, "bull" is right).

I love when this question is asked, I always know what the answer will be. I think this is one of the few questions on this board that the majority of the members agree on.
I hope to be ordering mine this week and finally making the switch to 48v! |
