Default Voltage in my batteries after all night charging,,,,,

I checked my voltage after a ALL night charging.I have 8-6volt batteries in my cart that are 08 models.The lowest was 6.12 and the hightest was 6.23.Should I be looking to replace them ?

as you can see by the chart ... your batteries are about dead



08 batteries with that much charge is real rare !! battery life is 5 years (aprox)

If im reading your chart right,the average for the whole pack is 70%,,am I wrong ?

you are correct 70% is not good ... after full nights charge it's very bad ... you can run it but will die quickly

I ran it for about 2 miles the other day going up some hills and got back to the house,and checked all batteries.The lowest was 6.02,is this bad?

yes it was below 50% and thats not good

i would take a pack reading that will tell you best how bad batteries are

Charging the batteries over night and they are reading 6.12-6.23 this is not good. I would bet the 6.12 have the lights are other accessaries hooked to them also.
The batteris should be very close to the 100% mark even used ones if they are good batteries. Each battery should be with in .5 of each other also. So the batteries you have should read no less than 6.12 are 6.17higher side are the lower side of 6.7. If they read out of those scales then you are ready for batteries are you need to balance them with a 6 volt charger.
Depending on brand name of batteries I would say you can figure 7-8 years if you keep them in proper order. I have seen 10-11 years on batteries at the beach. These are well maintained carts though. Only running on flat ground with never any real weight on them.

I wonder if I should put 6 8volt batteries in it this time.Dont need the extra weight of 2 batteries.
