A top of the line Trojan battery won't hold up good if not taken care of properly.

My battery of choice is US 1800 heavy duty battery. Had really good performance out of them.

I have Sam's batteries in my cart dated 08/08. Cart still running good and batteries charge up great. I hope for another 2-3 years out of them.
I do charge after every use, even after a 5 minute drive, but cart sits for up to 6 weeks at times with no use(cart stays at deer camp). Pleased with batteries and will probably buy Sam's again.

Agreed that 08 batteries are probably getting a little "long in the tooth", but it would also be prudent to make sure your charger is working correctly. Also would be good to know that charger is ok for new batteries if you get them. - RAY
