The ones I've seen were 10 watt ceramic wire wound.

Just put in the 40 amp with no resistor cause it didn't have one and I can't get one for a few days, and it ran well. Took it around the park for a good tour and all worked well.fingers crossed it lasts a while......
It was an automotive one, but one that was 36v and continues duty, |
