I used 1/0 gauge cable for our amplifier installations at work. I could find any info on strand count though.
Has held up for me so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree the flux density in an AC circuit changes the further you get into the conductor, but unless the flux changes direction, there is nothing to cancel it out in the center of a conductor in a DC circuit.

I'm selling the tin foil hats in 3 styles. 1 size fits all.

Interesting reading, but there is no tin foil needed here 'cus it went way over my head. Also I know somebody that makes a really good set of cables

What is wrong them? I could crimp on ring terminals that we have but I figured the surface area of them along with the threaded posts would be inferior to those clamps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Wow! Think I will just order a set of cables and not make up my own. Way more detail than I expected but this is an awsome information bank! Thanks to everyone I'll have more questions coming your way I'm sure!

There is nothing wrong with those blue jumpers but I would put some kind of battery terminal protectant on them while they are new before they begin to corrode. Sometimes you have to use material you can put your hands on.
