update-6 batteries all load test good,39v pack total and charger charging!....however,no go,no noises-nothing....more troubleshooting monday-the weekend is here....thanks for all ya`ll`s help! have a good weekend and see you next week!

Hey mutant,I am just an observer but I had the same exact thing happen to me.Are you using the battery test setting on your dvm on the acv side?put the dvm on 200 dcv and try it again.Ifinally figured this out after purchasing two new batteries..........live and learn! (just a suggestion)

That would be something to check next week. Now that the battery mystery is cleared up more advanced troubleshooting can proceed.

well,well...after charging batteries -i now have rev. but no forward...f/r switch has dark nuts and bolts,so initial guess is it is bad...working on other things this morning but will be doing some tests later today.... at least i know the motor is good


update-f/r switch is bad will be contacting scottyb soon!

got the switch from scotty(looks great!) upon disassembly i have found the B(i think) post to be very wobbly and looks bent(from heat i think)...is there a way to fix this? can i replace the copper bolts or do i have to get a new board? it also looks lower than the rest of the bolts....

There is no fix for these switches. The base housing is hard plastic and when the studs get hot they sink in their seats which decreases contact with the rotary cam contacts and causes more heat ... it's all over from there.
