Re: Ezgo txt creeps forward, reverse fine
just guessing but seems like f/r switch to me...look for heat discoloration on the switch and switch board...mine was doing the same thing and i am in process of replacing it now.good luck!

If it were the solenoid it would effect both directions. I would guess fnr or bad wire from the FNR.

Well I think this might have something to do with the issue. Pin 5 in 10-pin connector to controller is burned up. What do you think? Smackdaddy66 |

Btw - where is the FNR switch located? I couldn't find it.

That looks like a PDS drive. I was thinking series. The FNR should be on the dash.

The posters suggesting F/R switch issues probably thought you had a series cart since you didn't fully identify your cart. Call it a 2003 TXT PDS and everybody will be on the same page. J1 Pin-5 and J1 Pin 4 supply power to the controller for its internal electronics, for the ITS and for the external controls, but I'm not sure which of those two pins supplies power to which circuitry. The burnt connector may be the problem source, but the controller may also be going bad. Pin-5 did get hot enough to damage the molex plug, so the controller was drawing excessive power through Pin-5 and I'm leaning towards a bad controller. |

Repair or replace that wire harness (plug) before you install another (upgraded) control.
