2002 or 1996 better for lifting?
I am planning on doing a rebuild with 4" drop axle lift, 22" tires, and new body on one of our TXTs, both series motors. I have available a 1996 model with the steering assembly mounted on the body and also a 2002 model with the steering assembly mounted on the axle. I note that the older model has slightly longer front springs than the newer model, maybe 3 - 4" longer on the older model.
Both carts are in about the same condition. So is there any reason why one is better than the other for installing a drop axle lift kit with the main difference being the steering assembly location? |
