Here you go!

Edit just for your information, no puller was going to pull this off and make it useable. Even though I "saved" the axle, it had to be replaced. The splines had rusted to the hub.

nope ... not at all
i think it moved with the puller but not sure
i tried hammering it in while heated , it did not move
even applied heat and pulled it with puller and an impact gun
nothing
i had removed the the brake cable and got the star wheel all the way in
soaked the splines with P B Blaster half a can over 6 hours

Nothing against PB Blaster.....used it many times....but
if you can get a hold of some Kroil, you wont use PB again. The stuff is pretty amazing.

I learned of a trick not too long ago for trying to free up stuff that is bound up with rust. Heat it almost red hot with a torch or the like, then immediately pour cold water over what you're trying to break free. The rapid contraction of the metal breaks the rust

Come on Crash! We all know how to get an EZGO hub off!

#1 Put the wheels back on.

#2 Put the cart in reverse.

#3 Floor IT!

#4 Once your at maximum reverse speed, put it in forward and floor it!

#5 Your hub is now stripped out! It may have fallen off the cart already!

#6 Install new ausco hub and enjoy your cart!

LOL!
