No solenoid click-no power
Cart just quit the other nite driving her. Solenoid does not click/no power. Have changed F/R switch ,ignition switch, micro switch, throttle sensor, solenoid. I have 1 volt at solenoid with key on. I have searched for broken wires or bare wires that could short out on top and underneath ( I have a car lift at my house). It has the stock controller in it but have no idea how to identify it,but it is the original one. I checked the solenoid with meter at pos and neg ends, have not checked blue or yellow wires,as I don't know proper method of how to do it. Thanks for any info of what I should do next, gotta get back running again Thanks

Re: No solenoid click-no power
Check the voltage on J1 Pins 4 & 5.
Pin-5 should be full battery pack voltage (38.2V if fully charged) 100% of the time. Pin-4 should be full battery pack voltage when the battery charger is not plugged into charge receptacle. Connect black test lead to battery pack's main negative terminal and push Red test lead into backside of J1 while all plugs are connected to controller. To get solenoid ti click when pedal is pushed, every wire highlighted in red on attached schematic has to have full battery pack voltage on it. ------------- Since the cart stopped working while in operation, my guess is that the reed switch failed. On the in-line connector that connects the voltage from the reed switch to the wiring harness failed. (I had that happen to me) |

Re: No solenoid click-no power
So I am having an issue with getting my key switch to power my directional switch. I am getting no power from the white or white and yellow wire. I tested the J1 4 and 5 and both have full pack levels. 6 and 7 are 1.0 and all others are showing .6, any ideas?
