The clutch on the engine spins and closes but belt won't spin I've rolled the belt off the clutches and the trans clutch turns also I'm thinking the belt has stretched but a local dealer over the phone said i need a clutch

It may be you need a clutch, get it off and lets look inside before

I am sure that he dealer will be thrilled to sell you a new clutch. Why don't you buy a new belt? If this doesn't cure the problem you will have a new belt to go with your new clutch
