Default Spark and no spark

I have a 2001 gas club car (kawasaki motor) which runs and then cuts out then runs again after sitting a while. I checked everything I can think of but the spark comes and goes. I think it may be the igniter or magneto? Any suggestions?
Thank You,
John

My 2001 was doing the same thing before it quite completely. Turned out to be the coil. It did not have a separate ignitor.

yes, when in doubt check the coil! also check to make sure all micro switches are working correctly, and your rev limiter is working correctly! and that no rodents have made tere way into your wiring!

Thanks, I'm almost positive it's the igniter. I will replace it.
Thanks again

if it is the ignitor then your going to replace the coil also. up into the middle of 96 they had a ignitor behind the rpm limitor and a coil. after that they went to combining the 2.
