xrt no saprk when hot

Well this might be wishful thinking. I washed it and replaced the spark plug. It was gapped really wide. I have been driving it for a while. I have my fingers crossed. I just wonder if the wide gap could have made the coil work harder.

Don't think so , U will get the same voltage and # of firings from coil regardless .

Gap was only 35. I don`t know what I did exept wash it and check , unplug-plug connections. It has not lost spark since.

A coil can act different hot and cold if its starting to go bad .

Gleemo is right!

We had one that would run intil it got hot and quit, then it may run or may not. Coil is breaking down under different conditions. Replaced the coil and is still running 4 years later.
