Re: Cash Box Install
I know you know where I swim!
Once when we were swimming some people snuck over and sat on our towels. I think their plan was that they would sit there for a few minutes until the people around them thought they were sitting on their own towels. Then they would just start looting our stuff as if it was theirs. But we shouted at them from the water and ran up there before they could get anything. They acted like they accidently sat down on the wrong towels. Yeah, sure. |

Re: Cash Box Install
yeah that should workout good until someone with a club car key steals the whole cart lol. an added layer of protection would be nice in that situation you hook up a siren to the to the seat with a cheap window or door contact from a security system you also tie it into the keyswitch , if someone opens the seat or uses a key the siren will start blaring , you hide the toggle switch for it in the glovebox or under the serial number lip where the cup holder attaches

Re: Cash Box Install
I believe that putting the cart in maintenance mode will deter most would-be cart thieves where I'm at. But those are certainly good ideas.

Re: Cash Box Install
I put a "Valet" switch inside the glovebox on our G16,I can reach in and flip it as I get on/off the cart without anyone realizing what im doing. It cuts power to the key-switch.Works good, caught myself with it,wondering why the battery was dead?My thinking was like Rich said, anyone with a Yami could just drive away with it,atleast this will slow someone down alot.

Re: Cash Box Install
Nice idea and install!
The only thing that may be an issue is you still have to hide a key??? (for the box) Lose that key, you don't have your phone, wallet, or cart key. I wonder if those boxes come with combination locks? |
