G2 won't turn off and only goes in reverse! PLEASE POST! 👍🏻
Hi! What a day! I have a Yamaha g2 gas cart. I recently put in all new engine parts and cables. Also did some wiring. Today I started it for the first time and 2 things happened. First it would not turn off unless I disconnected the battery cable! Second it will only go in reverse! Please help! I'd like to ride it before the snow comes!! Thank you!

Check the switch in the pedal, unplug the wires in it and see if that shuts it off.
Check adjustment and cabels of the fnr shifter |
