Default What did I do wrong?

2 inch Yamaha lift. Both the right and left side rims are rubbing on the bolt towards the rear of the cart.

18x8.50-8 standard tire and wheel that came with the cart.Guess I will need to orders ten inch wheel and tire combo. I was just concerned that I made mistake in installing the lift kit.

Thanks for the picture. I haven't torn my cart down yet for the install but I really couldn't figure out exactly how the spacer went in. Now I do, thanks.

Besides this issue, how was the install?

The install went well with the help of PingEye3 pictures.i am not a mechanic and it took about 4 hrs including the toe in adjustment. Directions with the kit were not to good so print out Pings pictures. I got the kit off EBay for $307 delivered and everything was Yamaha packaged and fit perfect

I agree the instructions are not that great so I already have his as well as your above printed. I should get my cart back on Friday and will install the lift this weekend. I need to lookup instructions for the toe alignment.

I also got mine on ebay but for 299 delivered.

Thanks for all of your info!

Would a set of 1" wheel spacers fix the issue?

Wheel would work, but I ordered a set of 10" wheel with 20" tires yesterday. Was going to use the original tires an wheels until they wore out but bit bullet.

They probably would work. When I first installed the lift kit, the new wheels and tires had not arrived yet. So, when I went to install the stock tires, they would not fit. For short term, I was able to install two lugs nuts on the hub and then the wheel over them and then lug nuts. Thus about a 1" spacer. This worked until the new wheels came.
Thanks for the compliment, Naturallight.
