front wheel bearing
I'm changing the front wheel bearing on a 2005 Yamaha golf cart.
Question, I can't find anywhere how tight the front nut should be and also what keeps in tight. The one I took off was some what loose and the carter key was In place. Is this the only way to make sure it stays in place? It had a blue mark on it (nut). Thanks Sonny |

Re: front wheel bearing
THe nut is supposed to be a lock nut. The correct one will NEVER come loose, it fights you all the way off. As long as the nut is still good.

Re: front wheel bearing
Flange nut, no "castle" to it. The split pin is a last ditch emergency piece that will never touch the nut during the life of the cart. Similar to this one on my G2.
