Default 97 CC project

Thought I would share my winter project with you guys. We all can't seem to get enough of each others cart projects.
Basically just gave it a fresh coat of paint and re assemble. I will be buying some SS wheel covers yet to finish off the project.

Looks great! So what did you put on it for paint? I am at work right now painting my cart. (yes I work at a body shop) I am putting some Sherwin Williams blue pearl basecoat on it that was going to get thrown out, and then I am going to put some Sikkens Autoclear 3 on it. I will probably put 3-4 coats of clear on it, then sand it, and re clear it.

I can't tell you what color paint we put on it as we were kind like a mad scientist mixing up a potion. I painted it at my friends body shop and we were grabbing different colors of paint and mixing them together until we came up with what I wanted. It has two coats under the blue that were not quite the right color so we would just add to the mixture and spray it again. It is amazing how the clear makes it pop.
I mentioned earlier that I had to put the SS wheel covers on yet, do these things hold up well? Do they flake or chip?
