Default Yamaha Pro Hauler 700

I have a yamaha pro hauler 700. Bought it pretty banged up and now im ready to start modifying it.

Jakes 6" lift?...Does it lift it a full 6"? Max tire with it and how much slower will it go? Ive already adjusted the governor a little(just to where it doesnt backfire)

Do any of the yamaha bodies cross over to this frame?

Can I eliminate the bed and put a rear seat kit?

More posts and you can post up pictures. Anything is possible if you can fabricate mounting for the rear seat. I don't think body parts are available any more

I have one also I bought not running. Rear clutch is off but engine does turn over.
I think jakes is the only kit that fits, there’s another guy on here named mike that did a different lift on a pro 700 but needed mods to make work.
No other body I think fits from what I could find. I bet something may fit but someone has to do the test to see what may fit with mods.
Same guy above did a rear seat on his and of course there’s no kit. He made one work.

Does this look like your cart?

If so, it depends on the year as to which G-series kit will work - this one was a G16 Spindle-lift (3") with 20" tires we installed for a customer last summer, the 6" kit would be fine too and would allow You to do 22" tires without a problem.

They are so similar to the G-28 platform, I would be surprised if UMAX G-28 body parts (or G-22 nose, but not rear body) couldn't be made to easily fit. Be warned, G-28 body panels are expensive, but at least they're still available. I can't find Prohauler body parts anywhere on the net. I dug up the body panel part numbers and all, none anywhere. "Brewcity", your pic is what's known as a "Yamahauler", predecessor to UMAX, ant different than Prohauler.

The green one is a G-28 UMAX.
The blue one is a Pro Hauler.

The similarities are definitely there.

Leave it be and drive it like you stole it, get a regular golf cart for the flip seat and a nice body

This link was supposed to take you right to UMAX parts, but it seems you still need to enter in the info. It has parts lists for Prohauler too. Go ahead and look up whatever parts your interested in, and punch them into your favorite parts supplier that offers genuine Yamaha parts. Boats dot net is a cheap one.

When we priced out the body panels for the cart in my pic, they were no longer produced which looks like the case for the G28 too - we *did* manage to find a set after some surfing, the rear fenders (body panels) were around $550/side and the rear panel was another $175 or so if I remember correctly (needless to say the customer decided to live with the original panels and riveted some sheet metal over the cracked part on one side, just to keep it from flopping around) ...
