How long does a charge last
Hello,
I working on building up my cart it is a 2008 ex go mpt. Today I had it at the farm and went about 1.5-2miles on one full charge it was light to moderately hilly terrain. Is that normal? I would have thought it would run longer. It is a 36v system and a 250amp controller Sent from my H1611 using Tapatalk |

Re: How long does a charge last
it all depends on what you call hilly and how much power you used

Re: How long does a charge last
Excellent batteries of the proper SIZE will give a stock cart 100 minutes of pedal time.

Quote:
R x T = D 100 min = 1.66 hours 12 (mph) x 1.66 (hours) = 20 miles Add more weight , hills , lights, radio .... expect less Golf courses expect to get, roughly, 2 rounds out of a charge (12 miles or so) |

Re: How long does a charge last
Use a multimeter with leads long enough that you can clip onto the batteries and hold the meter in your lap. Go find a good steep hill and drive up it while observing the voltage drop on each individual battery and the overall pack. Report back what you get. Should be able to tell what's going on by those numbers

Re: How long does a charge last
This may be a really dumb question, but when you check the individual batteries, don't they have to be disconnected from the pack.
