Free cart.
So I guess I am inheiranting and old what appears to be club car DS.
All I’ve seen of it is this photo. I get it Tuesday.  I am told it need 6-6v batteries (which are expensive up here in Canada) and that’s the reason it’s free. I know i haven’t even seen it but would this battery work for it? Cheapest I’ve seen. https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/eversta.../6000195362532 I have a gas CCDS that my plan was to build up. I don’t think I need 2 so I’m thinking get this one running cheap and flip it.... |

Yes, that is a DS.
No, that is not for a cart. It is a sealed AGM battery. You want something like this which is for carts and can be charged a LOT of times.... http://usbattery.com/products/6-volt-batteries/ or http://www.trojanbattery.com/markets/ev/6v/ |

Ok thanks. I didn’t think so, but it said for golf carts... oh well. Cheapest place up here I got was $218/per battery for 6v.

Appears to be an early ezgo marathon...
That battery you referred to is probably fine for gas golf carts but certainly not electric. I do think that Same club (Walmart) sells golf cart deep cycle batteries if you can find them. I am sure they will be cheaper than $218 a battery. |
