Re: Kf82 flat with electric fuel pump
Yes. I'd convert it if I were you. Just order a vacuum fuel pump for a 1986-up cart. The side nipples will hook to your fuel lines and the nipple pointing down will be the vacuum signal from the block. There should be a free nipple on the front of the motor you can hook it to. Post pictures up here if you get stuck.

SpringBok
I have the same issue with the Mitsubishi Electric Fuel Pump and saw your post on changing it to a Vacuum pump. Is it as simple as hooking it up properly and going from there? Thanks!! |

Re: Kf82 flat with electric fuel pump
Do you have the original clutches and is your cart lifted or do you plan to lift it? If you do I'd recommend upgrading both drive and driven clutches to the 1988-up style. No adapting needed, they're a direct fit.

I am putting a lift on mine. Upgrading the drive and driven clutch is not a cheap upgrade. Do you feel it’s necessary?

Here is what I would use if I needed a replacement. Change wire connectors, should work fine. https://www.ebay.com/itm/16655871929...SABEgLmZfD_BwE
