Led tail light question
Hi all, looking at a 2010 CC Precedent i2 Excel my neighbor just picked up. Looks like after market lights, The head light works but no tail lights. I measure 15 almost 16 volts at the Tail light wire plug. Yep no 12v converter. My question is will 15-16 volts burn out the tail light circuit board/lights? I guessing they are toast but then maybe I am missing something. Thanks.

Re: Led tail light question
I don’t know if it will burn out the board.. but leds are definitely polarity sensitive. I’ve seen them hooked up backwards before. If there not working now,,,, what’s it gona hurt?
