Battery Source X6V-GC Electric Vehicle Deep Cycle
Has anyone used these batteries, these are supposedly their extreme range batteries. They are 65 lbs and are $116. There are no real specs on these online so I sent them an email asking for them. If you have used them or know anyone that has please give me your opinion.

Never even seen one, but based on weight they ought to be in the 240AH range. (A T-105 is 225AH at 62 Pounds and a T-125 is 240AH at 66 pounds)

Re: Battery Source X6V-GC Electric Vehicle Deep Cycle
When I was speaking to DPI about my accusense charger, I asked them about Battery Source and they said they made good batteries. These come with an 18 mos. warranty which I didn't think was to bad. I was going to get trojans but the closest dealer is over an hour away. If they send me any info on the batteries I will share it.

At that price I would shop around for Trojan T105. Stay away from the T605. Trojan is the worlds number one manufacturer of golf cart batteries. I have experimented with other brands in the 15 years that I have owed 4 golf carts and now know that nothing beats the quality of new Trojan that are properly maintained

Re: Battery Source X6V-GC Electric Vehicle Deep Cycle
I have not ruled out the Trojan T-105, just thought this might be a good alternative since the Battery source store is right down the road from my house and the Trojan dealer is over an hour away. I have always been told the heavier the battery the more lead which equates to more run time and these are 3 pounds heavier a piece than the T-105s with a 18 mos. warranty.

I put Battery Source batteries in my cart in May of last year and already had to replace one. I haven't been very satisfied with their performance. |

Thank you ADSFR for your honesty, I guess I will just pay a little extra and drive a little farther to get the Trojan T-105s

For some reason I think I called them, they had powertrons, not the Trojan T-105
