Default 2016 RXV controller swap

Hi, I'm swapping my 235 amp controller for the 350 amp controller. Do I need to replace the solenoid too or will the stock one be ok?

2016 RXV should already come with the newer 48V coil solenoid. It really depends upon which 350A controller you are using... The 1206AC-5350 requires a 36 volit coil solenoid. And the 1206AC-5360 requires a 48 volt coil solenoid. Either controller can be programmed for either solenoid. But if you operate the solenoid at the wrong coil voltage, it can either overheat, or operate intermittently.

Thanks for responding. It is the 5360. And my current solenoid says it's 48v cont. I noticed it says something about large max torque being 35 and I've seen heavy duty ones being sold that say 45. Should I just get the heavy duty one? They're only about $45

Solenoid small nuts 7-13 in. lbs. (0.75-1.5 Nm) large nuts 50-60 in. lbs. (5.5-7Nm).

This is inch pounds....

So that just has to do with the torque down on the nuts? Lol. I thought it might have something to do with the actual carts torque.

Already the high current solenoid, and the correct solenoid for the -5360 controller, assuming the controller has not been reconfigured for a 36V coil solenoid.
