Installed lift kit, now cart wont go
So before I installed my lift kit yesterday, my 2004 Club Car would occasionally not go. Would hear the solenoid click but wouldn't run. It always fixed itself.
Now I think maybe I created a new problem. I was installing my lift kit this weekend and I didn't have the motor supported enough and it rolled forward multiple times before I was able to support it correctly and get the rear portion of the lift kit installed. Now the cart won't run at all. Every time I've tried since it seemes like the cart will try to start to go two or three times and even slightly moves, then all I hear is the click of the pedal after that. It did seem the motor was relying on the wires to support it a few times, but the only cable I've found that came loose is already reconnected. Going camping this weekend so hope to try to get it fixed this week. Thanks for the help. |

I must be missing something. You had to disconnect the motor? It was hanging by the wires?

Re: Installed lift kit, now cart wont go
No I didn't have to disconnect any wires, when I had the back axl jacked up it rotated forward and seemed to not fully rotate to the ground because the wires caught it. There was a wire that had a plastic connection that came undone but I already plugged that back in.

Re: Installed lift kit, now cart wont go
You did not mention if it was a Series or Sepex cart.
If it was a Sepex (IQ cart) most likely the Motor F1 or F2 quick connects came loose from the Controller. Check those wires at the Controller. |

That it is a Sepex motor and the controller use quick connectors for F1 and F2, have you checked the back of the controller to make sure they are still attached?

Did you have the batteries disconnected? Did you make any sparks?
