Default HELP! Alltrax Controller Issue

Hello all. I have a 48v 1996 Club Car DS. Everything upgraded. I have the SR500 Altrax controller and everything has been working great. Today I decided to add a toggle switch to the controller so that I could swap from street to off-road mode. I following the wiring directions (I think). I went from the Green “user” tab on the controller to a simple on/off toggle switch. I then we from the switch to then “on” node of the key switch.

Now, regardless of what mode I am in or even if I disconnect the switch from the controller, I am in getting shutdown and low throttle input under range error codes on the Alltrax software. Did I mess something up? The cart will go, but only if I have the throttle like 1/4 down. Anymore and it dies on me. Any ideas? I’m going camping in two days and want to take the cart. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hmm, this is the first I've heard of this issue. Is your throttle type still correct in the Toolkit software?

Something must be up with the connection you made at the key switch. How did you splice the wires together there? Crimp connector? Solder?

I’d check this, and also “Reset Auto Cal” in the tool box.

All. Thanks for the replies. It ended up being user error. Somehow when I programmed the toggle switch in the software, I changed the throttle type from “Club Car” to “0-5k”. Since my club car is “5k-0” it messed up the throttle. Once I reset the throttle type, everything worked perfectly.
