Help me go faster...2005 EZGO TXT

I have a 2005 TXT that I bought used in 2017. It had new 2017 Trojan batteries installed when I purchased. It also had a 6" lift with 22" knobby tires on it. After purchasing I noticed the original FWD/Reverse switch was still there so I upgraded to the HD version. I am wanting to go a bit faster but realize there are no "Jumpers" or chips available for the txt. Or are there? Any quick or DIY tricks that I may not know of to gain some speed? Thanks!

Convert to lithium will get you more "pep" and maybe more speed with the weight loss.. Other than that, upgrade motor.

Thanks for the reply. I just saw someone post about the lithium conversion. What is the cost difference compared to replacing with new Trojans? This is the first time I've heard about this conversion.

Here is a good read on the drop ins..you get new charger, volt meter and BMS built in. Seems a lot at first glance, but when you consider that they will last 15 years, no battery maintainance, less weight and the performance is very noticeable.
