2006 EZGO loses power when turning left

I have a 2006 EZGO 36V (TXT I think, ID plate is missing) that I just purchased and had to change the F/R switch in. That went well and the cart operates but I am having issues when making a left turn, the cart will lose power when I make a left hand turn, I will have to let off the pedal and turn the steering wheel straight and then press the pedal slowly until it starts moving and then continue my left hand turn. It will sometimes require doing this multiple times during the same turning attempt until it finally keeps going, other times it isnt an issue at all or will just do it once. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any suggestions from some of the experienced members for a novice would be greatly appreciated. I will be up where I have the cart stored this weekend, so if there is any additional info or pics that would help determine the issue, please let me know.

Is it making any noises when you are turning?

IN my mind this has to be a loose connection...is the battery hold down still on your batteries?

So I was able to figure out the issue this weekend, I lifted the floor mat and got into the pedal box only to discover it about half full of water. Once I dried it out and took it on a test drive it ran perfectly. I guess on the left turns it sloshed the water to the side and shorted it out temporarily.
