Just got a '22 Icon i6L - any suggestions?
So we pulled the trigger on an orange 2022 icon i6L. gets delivered in a couple days. Apparently the 22's have AGM batteries now and the motor is improved?
Are there any items that we should address immediately on this cart, or is it good out of the box? Some people suggest wheel spacers for a little wider stance. |

Re: Just got a '22 Icon i6L - any suggestions?
wider stance improves the ride but at the expense of mud/dirty getting flung if you live in an area with a lot of rain. I have 2 inch spacers and do get mud flung but it's not terrible and no one has complained about clothes being ruined (yet).
Most standard changes is the speed mod. If you plan on doing 30 then spacers help a ton. I personally changed the tires to street radials. I was initally using the cart on trails, curbs, holes, etc. and the cart was great for that but not so great on smooth pavement (stock tires are just horrible). Now the street radials have improved the ride on smooth pavement and I dont pop curbs anymore. Still do the trails but a little more careful and not as easy of a ride. |
