Need Battery help
I have a 02 Club Car 48V. Needs new batteries, any suggestions on where to buy. Can I use the single 48v conversion on Amazon? Appreciate any suggestions.

Re: Need Battery help
This is a difficult question to answer. The answer ultimately comes down to what you are willing to spend, and what your cart operation needs are.
You can go with Duracell FLA batteries for arguably the least initial cost and get 4 years of life out of them. One round of golf or 15 mile road surface rides are doable. Estimated cost around $800.00 You can go with a lithium pack such as Eco Battery 72Ah and get two rounds of golf or 30 to 40 miles on level pavement for under $2500.00. This gets you a complete kit including a new charger. Life expectancy 10 years. There are many more options such as Allied lithium 48 volt, 30 Ah batteries. Allied and Eco Battery are sponsors of BGW. Personally I would not buy them on Amazon or Ebay. Do a search here for either FLA or lithium recommendations. BGW is loaded with good advice. |
