Re: Relay for charger board?
I think you need a new control board, type "charger control board" in e-bay and they sell for approx $80. I had the same problem and got one there and it works fine. kirk

Re: Relay for charger board?
agree - over charging is not good - I have been talking to local golf cart place. Mech there says that the relay controls the open voltage to turn on and also to shut off. I have ordered a new relay for $3 + 2 shipping - seems like it is worth a try - hate to throw away the board straight up - anyone else chaged the relay on one of these boards? looks like it is three prongs to unsolder and resolder.
Will update once I put the relay on board. Fingers crossed mechanic is correct. |

Re: Relay for charger board?
I tried this .... alot. about 70 % of the boards I replaced the relay on di not function properly...
FYI the charger shuts off about 44-45v and the pack settles to 38.4 within 12 hrs. Don't undercharge your batteries either LOL ~ Good luck |

Re: Relay for charger board?
I'm with Scottyb on this one. Just buy the E-Z-GO board and be done.
I have them if you need one. I keep a couple on hand. |
