I know it only works on certain CC's, but did you try to reset your OBC yet?

I did try resetting the obc but I was getting the same problem.

So I ended up taking the microswitches off of another cart since I wasn't willing to pay the $12 + tax per switch at my local CC dealer.

Also, when I changed the solenoid, I used the diode that was with the new one but the resister was from the old solenoid. I changed out the resister along with the microswitches.

So far (knock on wood) things are working.

So much for that.

The obc light came on again. It comes on for a while but when I start driving the cart, it turns off. Sometimes when I am done driving and stopped, the light stays off and can be charged. Other times, the light comes back on and it won't turn the charger on.

Yeah, must just be a flaky obc that works when it wants to.

I was trying to avoid the $250 solution. :)

OBC Cannot be rebooted on 1997-2000 models. That only works on newer models. From everything you have said I believe the OBC is bad, for that model our local Dealer will charge around 180 (I believe) but no where near $250, it should be under $200.00

CJ i agree with about not being able to reboot tham but i have found very few that were not supposed to able to be rebooted but could be and lots of carts that you can reboot but wouldn,t......i quit trying to figure it out.......................
