Ok, so I did some troubleshooting.... now when the accelerator pedal is pressed the reverse horn gives an audible rapid tone. Am I to assume the ESC is fubar?

Well after some discussion with Scottyb, I determined that my speed controller was "fubar". After a short vacation I came home yesterday to a new Alltrax 400 DCX waiting for me.

I had a little difficulty (read user error) getting everything to work, but Scottyb was right there. He answered my emails within minutes. Long story short I go it working this morning after swapping a couple wires from the speed controller to the solenoid to the correct posts.

Now I have a cart that will top out at almost 25mph!!
