Default G9s Rule

G9 s Rule!
(Tune: Jingle Bells)

Tearing through the muck,
On a wonderful G9.
Followed by the 8s –
Listen to them whine! ** ----------- (**Wait! That wasn’t the carts - that was the drivers!)
The 9s are running well,
The drivers have lots of class!
The 8s are working to keep up,
But at least they’re full of gas** ----------- (**Wait! That wasn’t the carts – that was the drivers! )

(Chorus) Oh! Stinky smells, Stinky smells, gettin’ worse each day!
Oh what fun it is to blow the G8 carts away!

A day or two ago,
I headed for the hills.
Riding through the brush,
Gettin’ all the thrills!
I took a little drink,
And spilled a little drop
The G8 that was followin’ me
Got stuck and had to stop!

(Chorus)

They had a golf cart show
Down at the local course
I didn’t want to go
I entered under force!
There were a bunch of 8s
All prettied up so fine!
The judges just walked past those guys
And gave the ribbon to my 9!

(Chrorus)

I took an old G2,
Torn up, the engine gone.
I dumped it off my truck
And pushed it to the lawn.
Against a bunch of 8s
My cart was ragged and torn up.
I didn’t have to worry though
I’d already won the cup!

(Chorus)

Yeah, it really is. My knee aches so badly when the weather gets cold I seldom go outside when the temps get below 20 or so unless I bundle up in my insulated overalls. And when it gets down to the single digits I won't even ride my cart more than .5 mile or so.

I just hate cold weather... and it will soon be here. Good thing I've got a 'puter to mess with and friends to share with.

Well brother stay inside, bundle up, brew some coffee and write us some more Christmas music. Even though the content is questionable. Maybe I can take you lyrics and convince my band to play them

Probably not but hey they would get a laugh out of it to

This time of year brings out the "Weird Al" in me.

VA says they have a 1+ year wait on knee replacements ... and I can't even get a "consult" for about a year. That is for the Seattle VA hospital. Might be able to get in sooner in Portland. In the mean time I'll just have to deal with the pain ... and eat LOTS of ibuprofen. I don't take drugs until I get desperate.

I've been taking 3-4 pills, 3x day for several years --- trading off with aspirin and, more recently, alleve. Other choice is narcotics and I WON'T take them unless really desperate. I am taking a "buffer" that helps my stomach lining handle the others. This usually keeps the pain down to a "manageable" level. When it hurts too much under this regimen I just sit down and put my leg up for a while. Makes for short work days sometimes.
But at least I can do some things --- I'm a LOT better off than many. Enough about ME!

I will take it easy on my friends, and others too. I don't want to bother anyone, hurt anyone or cause any problems.
